hy guys ,i have found out i am entitled to incapacity benefit .my wife left me back in march but due to my ill health she wants to make a go of it and move back in .this is great but as she works 25 hrs a week ,will i still be entitled to this benefit ?i dont claim any other benefit or counciltax rebates .thanks

Incapacity Benefit depends on your National Insurance contribution record. If your record is OK (rules are quite complex but broadly, if you have worked & paid NI for the last few years then you should be OK) & you are sick & unable to work then you have an entitlement, provided you are not still employed and on Statutory Sick Pay.

This is not means tested, & your wife coming to live with you will have no effect on it.
themas is correct - Incapacity Benefit is not means tested and your wife's income will have no effect on it whatsoever.
