supermarket opening times on sunday

I always thought Supermarkets were not allowed to open till 10am on a sunday and some on shopping centers not till 11am. There is a new smaller Tesco just been opened and they are open 7am to 11 pm 7 days a week. How do they get round this?

No Amron they have built a complete new store in Hinckley Leicestershire. But I prefer Asda or Morrisions. The new store is set on a busy road and not very good access in and out and just a small car park.

It was just that your post made my brain jump to the one that has just opened along the road from me. It used to be a petrol station. I do my food shop online but I have to admit it is handy because I often work till 10pm only for hubby to call and say there is no bread/milk etc.

That's exactly what my daughter said as she sometimes works late and her hubby calls her to get some milk on the way home.
