On yerr bike whiffey.
Why o why am I laughing at this thread -whiffey ya roque -knobby PMSL !! (class act lol)

Sorry tommy -not detracting from your post -just couldnt help laughing at them !!

I would think it would be wholely unneccesary to do the 0-30 quickly-so I would deem it a bit boy racerish so I would go along the lines of it being reckless and a tad foolhardy .Thats just my opinion.

its tempting to go 0-30 quickly when some little chav git thinks he is a good driver - its just too tempting!!

if you mean in a car, probably not unless it breaks the speed limit or there's ice on the surface. Most cars aren't going to get up to 30 at such a speed that anyone is likely to be put in danger. But this is always subject to the possibility that a cop might disagree.
1.8 turbo actually!! hee hee
tommytriger 30 is nothing. you should accelerate to the max especially when you come to speed bumps.
Hi Tommy, the saying is "Don't assume, it makes an ass of u and me".

Hi Tetjam, how ya doin'?
my car's better than your car.

and my dad's a policeman.

and you smell.

gosh, that's quite good fun! :o)
To answer your question, no.

If you wheel spin it can be an offence as you are not in control of the car but unless something happens which is caused by your fast acceleration, there is no offence.

When I had a fast car, it was always good fun on A road traffic lights when I puled up next to a cop car and accelerated to 70mph in about 5 secs and set the cruise at 70.

They can do jack sh!t.

But I do respect the police however.
Mamjet are you mellowing? What happened to the the feisty Mamjet?
Why are you all answering the question that you want to answer, rather than the question that was asked?

tetjam, from your inability to focus on the facts, you are evidently not legally experienced, so why are you answering a legal question?

The question did not involve schools. Or roundabouts. Or crossings. It involved acceleration. If you add your own additional elements, you are changing the question, so you can hardly call tommy an "idiot".

So, the answer is that acceleration, per se, cannot be reckless.

If you want to add additional elements, then here's one. Even if I floor it in my MGF, as long as I have the roof down, I have no blind spots. Assuming I am not near tetjam's imiginary "school", I am clearly being more careful that drivers with hard roofs, and door pillars.

Also, if my hair blows around in the wind, I look a damn sight more stylish than most of them.

I find that most people with an amount of hair in a cabriolet car tend to look windswept and in need of a hairband
and most men are balding, if not bald. it must just fly away.....
I usually have my sunnies over my head, so I don't need an alice band.

I think the word is "tousled". Some girls have to spend hours in front of a mirror to achieve "tousled". I just go for a blast.

hi sara3.

Good day at the office?

x
Ooooh if my hair was blowing around in the wind I wouldn't be able to see where I was going. Add that to speeding past schools on roundabouts and I'm an accident just waiting to happen!x
you can make is sounds as arty as you like but the reality is it looks windswept and messy, most women tend to wear scarves or have their hair tied back
joggerjayne do you go from 0 to 30 very fast or very very fast
