I know it sounds like a stupid question but....

At the weekend my boyfriends mum reversed it to his car on their drive way and managed to do quite a lot of damage (prob looking at a new wing and possibly new door and don't ask how she managed it!!) She said after it happened that she would pay for it but when we asked for the money she said she did not have the money to pay for it so we will have to go through insurance. This was on Saturday Morning and she still has not contacted them. Is there anything we can do our end to get the ball rolling as we think she is just going to leave it and try to get out of doing it.

Thanks

Yes. Contact your insurance company and let them handle it - they will claim from her insurance on your behalf.

Unless you are only covered third party
if 3rd party use an accident management company they will handle all aspects of the claim.
Alternatively, contact her insurance company directly - some will accept a report from a third party, others won't, so hit and miss
