A few months ago i left my house in my car and crossed some traffic lights. The traffic then backed up and there was a long queue. I pulled out to the right to see down the line to see if there was somwhere i could turn around. I had checked my mirror prior to this and there was nothing coming from behind. On moving out a motorbike collided with me. The driver was ok, he suffered minor cuts to his hands but stood up immediately, when i asked he said he was ok. Admittedly i know i was in the wrong here, though i am sure the bike was travelling to fast for a 30mph zone. I am due to attend court very soon as i have just recieved a summons for driving without due care. Assuming that i plead guilty what do you expect the punishment to be? Fine and points?? Ban?

Dearest Ramjet, they gave more advice than you ever could and they didnt sit there getting all stroppy and angry like you do when you get a bee in your bonnet you drama queen. They were of superior intelligence (not hard granted!) to you and managed to communicate in a calm manner, you could learn a lot in that place.

You do remember i initially said "Admittedly i know i was in the wrong here" in my question dont you? Not sure where you are going with this, i'm not sure even you do now you poor thing :)
A bee in the bonnet? It's a lot better than having a car on your helmet.

Here a hint - stop running round in circles trying to get one over on me. It just makes you look like you haven't got anything better to do. Which you have - preparing your defence. Good luck with that.

Drive safer.
Question Author
I've already got one over on you Ramjet, you 're the one that cant keep away from my question. I've obviously got you wound up as you just cant seem to let it go. I think you're the one with nothing better to do apart from waste peoples time by not trying to give helpfull advice. Seriously, go get a new hobby, you live a very dull existence! :)
I'd much rather live a dull existence than live the crash bang wallop exciting life that you lead, Hudskov.
I haven't been to court for a while so I Imagine that's really boring compared to you.
Question Author
Boring is exactly the word for you Ramjet, i'm glad you even suggested it yourself as you truly are dull. Where do you get your ego from? I would imagine if i met you in real life you would not be so brave as to dish out the comments you have on here to people. Little man hiding behind a big computer screen i think :)
You're absolutely right, If I saw you careering towards me in your out-of-control car, I probably wouldn't be brave.

Hopefully after the court case there won't be much chance of that though.
Question Author
Hi there. Well you see once again you have your facts wrong. The bike hit me not the other way round Ramjet. You seem to get things wrong a lot. Probably because you actually have no idea of what the true facts are. I for one dont judge people unless i know all the facts. Try it out you might make more friends.

So you know, i've been advised i'll get points and a fine. Not too much of a problem being my first ever accident after 12 years of driving eh. Truly an emmense danger to society arent i! :)
I'm sure the motorcyclist would be delighted you're so proud. And that you're still pointing out that he hit you - implying that it was somehow his fault?! This country is going to the dogs and it's people with attitudes like yours that are to blame.
Nothing personal.
Question Author
Hi Ramjet. Proud? Wake up you loser, you are in some kind of dream and imagining things now. With regards to attitude, yours is possibly the worst i've known for some time. The words angry, frustrated and lonely spring to mind when i think of Ramjet. I would even suggest that your computer is your best friend right now as you cant seem to leave it alone. Get a life, get a wife, christ get something to cheer yourself up you sad little man. You are starting to resemble an annoying irratable rash that just wont go away. Somebody out there must love you, even if its just your mum :)
It's your mum actually. She says hello.
Question Author
:) As much as i find you quite pathetic Ramjet i cant help but help smile at your humour! I do fear the fact you have started on the mother jokes may mean you have exhausted your responses though.

I'm thinking maybe your mother doesnt love you, she's spends so much time loving others i doubt she's got any loving left in the tank! :)
Is the point of this question to try and ease you conscience? May be you are expecting the bank to sympathize with some sort of mitigating circumstances?

I know I was in the wrong here, though there is no though, there is no ifs or buts you where in the wrong end of.

Assuming that I plead guilty Assuming? Why are we only to assume maybe you are thinking that after giving your account plus underlying mitigating circumstances that we may somehow convince of your innocence? Assume not.

I will assume that the collision occurred just down the road from your house and that you are not new to the area. I will assume that you know all the safe turning points on that stretch and that your true reason for spontaneously moving out was either
a) Your impatience.
b) You are nosey and wanted to see the hold up
c) You wanted to make an illegal U-turn
Or
d) All of the above
Either way the maneuver was unnecessary and could never have been anticipated by the unsuspecting motorcyclist.

I am sure whether or not its a ban or points or both, the punishment will not be enough unless you finally hold your hands up and admit responsibility for your actions.
Physically the motorcyclist is ok but what do you think you have done to him mentally? what have you done for his confidence? Is he back on the horse?

Have a think!

Hope this helps
Question Author
Hi Tobesure, are you friends with Ramjet? You should get on well together, a right couple of moaners. If you READ the question properly i am asking the bank what to expect as punishment, not for sympathy.

Ease my conscience? Do you know how it feels to think you may have just killed somebody? I'm over it now but can assure you it was a very upsetting experience for all involved, especially the motorcyclist (who is now fine by the way).

1. Firstly you assume wrong as i had only just moved to my house a matter of weeks before, you assume a lot.

2. I said "Assuming i plead guilty "- as in i have a choice to enter a plea one way or the other. You dont know much about how these things work do you.

3. So you ASSUME that it was just me in the wrong. You dont actually know that do you as you were not there. Do you have a crystal ball or something to see into the past?

4. Indicating and moving out slowly would in most cases give the motorcylcist an idea what i was doing, though as you dont seem to accept i admitted "i was in the wrong".

5. To put your mind at rest the motorcyclist is fine (as he originally told me). The police officer called me to tell me he was fine also. Think he'll get over the cuts to the hand, what with it being over 5 months ago now. Also i'm sure the compensation will ease the pain.

So all in all my ill informed friend, you know nothing and can only speculate and ASSUME everything as you dont know half of the facts and you seem to think you know it all.

Once again another angry person needing to rant at somebody. Try giving advice like the rest of the people on this site :)
Ah yes. Everyone who disagrees with you is against you. It's all part of a huge conspiracy!

The motorcyclist that you knocked out was probably 'in on it' too, eh?

Like I said, if you don't want the truth, why ask the question?

Let me ask you this - how would you like it if some idiot drove his car straight at you? Not very nice, hmm?

Question Author
:) Hi Ramjet. Been missing you.

What question did i ask Ramjet?

"Assuming that i plead guilty what do you expect the punishment to be? Fine and points? Ban??"

Did you answer the question? No.

Did i admit i was in the wrong? Yes.

Did you have a rant and try to tell me this motorcyclist could never have been in the wrong? Yes.

Do you have all the facts? No.

Do you have a clue what you are talking about. NOPE!

Love you Ramjet x
At least you got Tobesure's name correct. No doubt you didn't think it foreign enough to make some hilarious playon words with it.

You should really stop going on about this incident. When's the court case? Sometimes it is best to try and put things into perspective.

Hello. There you go again, do you often accuse people of being racist? Do you think i honestly care where you are from or who you are? It makes you look a bit nasty Ramjet (As in Roger Ramjet you muppet) and makes you look like you have to fall back on to the race card when you have no valid arguement. A bit low i'd say.

I'm all good, its you that keeps going on about it as for some sad reason you seem to have nothing else better to do. For your info, i dont even have to attend court. Fine and points so i'm told. They obviously dont see that it is important enough to warrant me ebing there. Its not like the bloke got seriously injured after all eh :)
I wasn't accusing you of being racist. Try reading my post again. Try opening your eyes. You might want to do that when you're driving as well.

So by constantly calling methe wrong name, I'M being low? My godhow you manage to twist things. Like that motorcyclists head for example.

So you're now saying he didn't get 'seriously' injured - at least you admit he was injured now.

Safe driving.

Hudskov,

1. The driver was ok, he suffered minor cuts to his hands but stood up immediately

2. i am sure the bike was travelling to fast for a 30mph zone

Do yourself a favor Get yourself a scooter and drive it at 30mph into the nearest brick wall.

Let me know if you get up immediately. Count the scratches on your hand.

Once youve done this then come back with an educated guess on what speed you think he was going.

Im glad you got my point about assumptions, now I just hope you take my advise.

Let me know if there is anything else

XxX
