I have a PC with Windows XP and I am the only user and the system administrator. I have no difficulty in downloading programs af any kind. However, I have tried downloading a free version of Real Player from three different sites, but it only gets so far before telling me that I do not have permission to download the program as I don't have administrative rights, and to contact my system administrator! Given that it's my PC, and the only administrator, what's going on??

If you're wanting Real Player to listen to BBC Radio or similar (I hope so), then try Real Alternative:

See if that installs ok...
