Permission from husband?

My daughter is married but now separated and has another partner.They are planning going on holiday.Does she need her husbands permission to take her son on holiday from England to a greek island. Her son is 4.Thanks.

If your daughter has a residence order for her son, and the holiday does not exceed 1 month, she doesn't require the permission of her husband. The rules are here:

Thanks for your reply. Most helpful.There is no residence order .daughter is agreeable to access.But just worried in case won't give his permission.
she does`nt need his permission she just needs to inform him that they are going. he can`t stop her as long as its not longer than 3 months
He can stop her taking the child abroad if he can show the court that he has serious concerns about whether they will bring him back. Permission is best given because she could be in serious trouble if he decided to complain.
