How do I go about legally changing from my married surname back to my maiden name? thanks G

I used the solicitor I had during my divorce to apply for Deed Poll.

The form states that from a certain date you are to be known as *enter name* and it is signed by you and witnessed by another.

You can use any name you wish without having a Deed Poll name change, but most banks and other organisations will want to see documentation of a name change eg passport office.

many thanks but to be fair i cant really afford solicitors fees . Do you know if I could get form or any other documents - fill them in and then file them to the appropiate offices?
