Was interviewed yrs ago (recorded), now I have to fill out security forms for work. Not sure if the interview is considered a caution which I will have to note on the forms. The matter in question didn't go any further.

No. As a former police officer I can categorical state that being interviewed by the police is not a police caution.

No it isn't.0
just don't mention it then.
you'd be told if it was a caution and have to sign for it. An interview is just an interview.
I assume this is a separate matter from the breach of the peace fine you received last year (as per your other post) which will I'm sure have to be recorded
NO ! For it to be a caution the officer MUST tell you that you are being cautioned ! There is also a specific form of words that MUST be used !
Dunno. I've been a good boy. Not known to the police, as they say. Some security forms rely on you grassing yourself up because criminal record and background checks can be quite expensive. And it depends just what level of security is needed and why.
Also before you (or anyone) are interviewed 'Under Caution' there is a special 'form of words' that MUST be used !! it starts
'' This is a Caution !''
(just in case you did not realise !)
You MUST also be asked ''Do you wish a solicitor to be present ?'' Then, if you say 'Yes' they can NOT proceed until a solicitor IS present !
A Police Caution is a punishment available where someone admits to an offence. It is a formal document that you need to sign which will set out the offence that you accept responsibility for. This will be formally explained and administered at the police station and the Custody Sergeant provide you with a copy for your own records.

It is nothing to do with being interviewed "under caution".
