I have had my contested hearing date cancelled 3 times now, twice i was told the day before and once actually on the day. How any times can they keep doing this and am I allowed to cancel anytime?

Can the PPS or police hack your phone legally without your knowledge and if so can it be used in court as evidence? eg can they record conversation you had about a case?

Went to court, the main witness was out of the jurisdiction so the PPS had no choice but cancel the contested hearing. The Magistrate granted me legal aid because of this, not sure why but not...

What happens if the main witness doesn't turn up to court? Will we have to sit around and wait all day? Will I still have to take the stand? Will the case be thrown out?

I was under the impression if I lost a criminal case then I pay the fees and if I won the case then the CPS paid the fees including my solicitor fees! Then why did I just get a call from my solicitors...

What is the difference? I thought ghb section 18 meant that you intended to cause GBH, then why is there a GBH section 20 with intent?
