Kids and adults playing ball comes over regularly however, we normally throw it back. Now adults kicking so hard it is damaging plants and has hit me while eating outside. No reason apology ever given

15.31 and 15.53...

Err...that's twice.
//Err...that's twice.//
3 Times would be repeated twice surely?

15:31, Original mention.

15:53, First repeat.

Err, you are wrong again!
That's "mentioned " twice, but "repeated" once.
You repeated the OP twice...not yourself.
Thank goodness some people have sympathy with Robby rather than assume he's a) lying b) hates kids and therefore having a go. Of course children should be allowed to play in their own garden but by same argument people should be able to sit in their own garden and not have their plants broken or be hit by a ball. I find it stunning that side can't be understood - and as for don't go out when they are playing, was that serious?
ditto Prudie
Ditto Prudie..... :-)

16:32, Sorry, makes no sense, you can only repeat something after it's been mentioned originally mentioned, are the rules different in Ireland?
// If that fails, staple the kids to their garden wall by their jumpers. //

I dont understand why he doesnt go next door and massacre them - shouting alloa snackbar or something

as s/o said: Football it's not a matter of life and death - it is far more important than that !

Prudie, did you spot the bit abults in the OP?

@ 16:41, delete either 'mentioned'
Yes, the adults bit is the main thing but many have latched onto the kids bit and focussed their argument on that. I don't know robby and don't think he's a 'regular' but if certain regulars had posted the same scenario they'd have had far more support.
Peter, you owe me a new keyboard, wicked man.

Good grief, predictive is going mad, you spot the bit "about adults"
Peter - "...shouting alloa snackbar..."

Post of the month :-))
I do sympathise with Robby as ever the problem comes when the neighbour doesn't acknowledge their part in the nuisance and gets sstroppy.

My Mother was plagued by footballs coming over her wall into the backyard, often children would climb over but then unlatch the gate and leave it open - once our dog escaped and got injured that way.

As she got older and yes , maybe a bit less forgiving she started to snatch the balls up and roll them down the cellar steps - when she died we found fourteen down there.

We donated them to a local school.

^ Demented gibbering of the Month imo
^ sorry for typos
I more or less said the same as Prudie, but no-one ditto'd me .....
