There's a press release from the BBC today, giving highlights of their Christmas schedule:

So what will you, or won't you, be watching?

Over and out!
Not rubbing it in or anything but nothing. I'll be on a beach in Antigua. Yay!
Probably comedians...if they aren't repeats. And Not Going Out. I like that too.

Lucky you! :-) xx
I only tend to watch the Mock The Week and QI Christmas specials, and the Christmas Day Doctor Who. There's not a lot on that list that catches my eye.
Call the Midwife and Dr. Who
I'll be watching any of the Dicken's dramas, And Then There Were None and ef course Luther. Not sure I'm too bothered about the rest.
Ooh, yeah! And Call the Midwife
When my mum was alive we were never allowed to have the TV on Xmas day (except for the Queen of course).
Show weecalf, I double dare ya ;-)
\and then there were none/

is the third title this book has had. The first one is grossly offensive and the second marginally less so.

Thanks for the replies.

I'll almost certainly watch the Agatha Christie adaptation ('And Then There Were None').

I'll definitely watch Jools's Hootenanny. (It's a highlight of my year -and yes, I know that qualifies me as 'sad'!)

Shaun the Sheep is also a 'must', as is the QI Christmas Special and Professor Branestawm.

I'll probably catch some of the classical music.

There are a few other 'possibles' in that list for me.

However I definitely WON'T be visiting Albert Square!!!

Rocky:
As I read it, the BBC are bringing together several Dickens' characters into one new production.

Nobody's mentioned EastEnders yet. Someone must be looking forward to the usual lack of Christmas spirit in Albert Square, even if it's not me!
Just about the only thing for me there Buen is the Christmas morning service. Will stick with sky sports and films if it is a sit down. Otherwise my iTunes or radio.
I'm looking forward to Catherine Tate reprising her role as the Swearing Nan.
"The first one is grossly offensive and the second marginally less so. "

They weren't offensive in their day.
I might watch that if they were to stick to the plot of the book, but they never do.
Apart from that:
"The first British astronaut to visit the International Space Station joins BBC Four’s RI Lectures this year as Dr Kevin Fong reveals How to Survive in Space"
That is going to be on my list, if I remember.

Togo:
As an atheist, I'll be avoiding the Morning Service. (That doesn't mean that there won't be any carols in my house though. I've got loads of Christmas CDs, mainly by children's choirs)

JD33:
I used to love CT's characters but I think that I've grown rather bored with them over the years.

Ichkeria:
I watch very little telly but listen to a great deal of radio, so I might catch those programmes. I'm hoping that Radio 4 Extra will repeat 'Crisp and Even Brightly'. (They usually do). It's the funniest Christmas programme ever!
You are right about not sticking to the book. Murder is Easy was featured as a Miss Marple mystery even though she does not appear in the book. The ending of The Body in the Library was changed to reveal the murder as a result of a lesbian affair when it was no such thing.
You could have a Christmas pizza whilst you listen buen. 'Deep Pan Crisp and Even'.

As long as I can avoid puns like that one, Togo, my Christmas shouldn't be too bad ;-)
