I've always loved the idea of making my own beats but never really known where to start. I've tried using decks but didn't really take to it. Someone told me about the device named in title and it seems r to fit the bill, however the price is a little steep at £125. I'm sure it's one of those things that you need to spend a fair wack to get a decent product.

Is there anything cheaper out there that petty much does the same thing? I don't want to spend too much just in case I don't take to it again.

Basically all I want is something where I can create a dancy style beat starting with a single beat and gradually introducing more sounds to create my beat.

Please advise.

Many thanks
