what is your oldest item of clothing you own...and why do you still have it?

I have a three quarter Sheepskin jacket..15 years old, but the first whiff of snow and on it goes.....bu&&er fashion.

All my clothes are old, really can't remember the oldest but 15 is practically brand new!!

I've got an AC Milan shirt I still wear that's from 1994, I was 14 when I got it, must have been huge on me then!

I had a t-shirt that belonged to my friends son. I wore it to death then cut it up and made a necker with the remains. It is still going strong after 30 years.
My Mum has just thrown away my last nappy (used as a floor cloth). I'm 60! And no I wasn't in nappies till I was 32!

A faux fur coat which I have worn once and which my husband bought me in 1960. We thought it was very posh but I have never found the occasion to wear it. Too hot for in the car and how much walking does anyone do in these days. I'm not likely to go out if it is too cold anyway and no doubt it is completely old fashioned now.

I've still got some Richards Shops clothes, very well made, but my favourite 'oldie' is an oversized shaggy cardigan which comes out when it gets really cold, haha it even has padded shoulders!!
