Hi

My boyfriend is currently serving a 2 year sentence of which he will serve a year is he elligable for tag before his release?
Any help will be great thanks!

why would he need a tag before he's released?

I don't think people convicted of a violent offence qualify for early release.

it can vary and really depends on the probation officer, they may make him do the year then just have to sign in on probation for the remainding year orthey can have him tagged to which he will get a time inwhich he has to be in the property he will be registered to by the probation officer, he will know more when he is coming close to the end of his 1st year.
