i am no law person BUT from watching the telly i would say1) not be named in the papers 2)give evidence from behind a screen, or a video link

If the child is in court, barristers and judges may remove their wigs.

Dredging up memories from the past you need to look at the Youth Justice and Criminal Evidence Act (I think).

"Special measures" include

video taped evidence in chief and sometimes video taped cross exam
live video link
screens
certain people to be excluded from court
giving evidence through an intermediary
removal of wigs and gowns

The Judge would normally make a direction that the child would not be named in any event. However, the name will be given out in court.
