OK first things first Ryan.

1. Have you been charged with any offence ?
2. Was you arrested and put out on bail pending enquiries ?.
3. Did you speak to a solicitor when arrested ?
4. Have you had independent photos taken of your injuries or received medical attention ?.
5. Did you make a full statement to the Police in front of your solictor.
6.Were your clothes removed for testing by the Police ?. Were there other peoles blood on you ?.
7. Was this fight in a pub of a nightclub ? - Was there CCTV running ?..If there was are the Police aware ?.
8. Is this your first offence ?, have you been convicted of violence before ?
9. Do you work ? Or are you on the dole ?.

My advice : GET a GOOD criminal law solicitor - Make sure he runs through ALL the witness statements, photos, medical reports, police custody records.

I got attacked by three guys in London, one tried to bottle me, I put two of them in hospital, broken jaw,and cracked ribs and gave one of them 9 stiches in the head with the beer bottle he tried using.

I was expecting at least 2 yrs in Prison.

I got 2 yrs probation and a £200 fine.

I had a GOOD and VERY bright solictor.

Good Luck Ryan

With the help of a good solicitor, it's then left up to the courts to decide who's lying and who's not. If you're positive that your bottle didn't do any intentional damage to anyone, then it's up to your solicitor to defend you and prove that. Stick to your guns, and listen calmly to any evidence against you. If you cause a scene in court, it won't look good.

Remember this saying :

It is better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

That means, it is better to fight and defend yourself and end up in court, in front of 12 members of the public on a jury, than carried in a coffin by 6 people when your dead.

Whatever happens : BE A MAN AND TAKE WHATEVER LIFE CHUCKS AT YOU LIKE A MAN.
