Ring the police when its blocked, its not a priority so don't expect a quick response.

on top of that, depending on how long its been parked there and what sort of an obstruction it is causing the police might even tow it, i guess it depends what sort of a mood they are in.

Someone parked over my drive.

I needed to get my car out as it was the school run time. I phoned the local station, cried, and said poor liitle 5yr old could not be collected unless car removed.

The police came, issued �60 fixed penalty... gave me a lift to school ... kids loved being collected by police....

The perp necer parked infront of mine again!!!!

Yes it is an obstruction and is either punishable by a non endorsable fine of �30 if it is deemed an unnessecary obstruction of an endorsable fine of �60 and 3 points if deemed by the Police as a Wilful obstruction. The offending vehicle can also be towed.
