I got the impression, in Andrew Marr's interview, that Clegg would find it very difficult to do a deal with Labour.
I certainly wouldn't - I'd like to see a Tory government where they don't want to dismantle the NHS, alas, this isn't really an option!

As TTT says, I can't imagine Clegg putting up with Ed Milliband for more than 15 minutes.

Did anyone hear Clegg on the radio talking about the slow death of political parties? Quite interesting how he attributes a great deal of validity to single issue campaigns - and it suddenly became clear why he fancies PR so much.

That is if Ed Millband is still leader of the Labour Party at the next election.
Yes, indeed. I can't think who would replace him right now? Maybe Alan Johnson? Not that he fits with Labour's current shape - but then, maybe that's why I reckon he'd do alright!
No.
I would prefer it to an all out labour Government.

But in reality I could not see it working, especially if the Unions are driving Labour at the time.

/// No ///

That is interesting Gromit, would you care to elaborate?

I would have thought that with you being a staunch Labour supporter and the Lib/Dems policies more in keeping with Labour policies you would have seen this as quite acceptable.

Perish the thought, we are now paying heavily for Labour's past mass-immigration programme, can you image what this country would be like topped up with the Lib-Dems immigration policy?
I wouldn't wish for Labour to form part of any government - nor the LibDems.
The LibDems will do a deal with anybody that comes along.....the last 3 years have taught then that if you use a long enough spoon, you can sup with just about any devil there is.
I know of absolutely no UK party whatsoever, anywhere on the political spectrum, that is even remotely fit for government. The chance that I will actually vote at the next general election is very, very slim.
