Internet Banking Fraud.

I have recently had a large sum of money taken from my internet bank account fraudulently. My bank have told me that they have issued an idemnity claim against the bank that held the account where my money went fraudulently. What does this mean & how does it work?

Did it go out as a direct debit?

No it was not a direct debit. Someone had hacked into my internet bank account and transferred the money from my account into their account.

Well the indemnity is the process the bank goes through to reclaim the money.

You will get it back.
