I've been googlemapping (oo is that a new verb), an address in London E1, Fournier Street and then I went for a "wander" to see where I was, and came to a massive glass building which appears to be on Shoreditch High street. If I was standing with this building on my right, and looked forward I could see that gherkin building. Does anyone know what the glass building is please? Also, right at the end of Fournier Street on the corner with Commercial Road there is a big white temple/church/chapel. What is it? Thank you.

Aw thanks Chris. It looks lovely. It obviously hasn't changed from those times. There's just SO much in London; I have been there a couple of times, but I think one would have to be there for years to see everything.
There are plenty of big glass buildings around there but you're possibly referring to . . .

(It's a multi-use development, comprising the HQ of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, together with restaurants, etc)

Could be Chris; when I googlemap it, it has a lot of road works up the side of it and the road is actually closed.

Well I've had another google. It's not that building Chris. That building you showed me is up Primrose Street. The one I'm talking about is OPPOSITE Norton Folgate (I can see the sign on the side of a building) and the street that runs up the other side (parallel to Primrose Street)n is Worship Street.

Yup. That's the one. As I was googling down Commercial Road. I could see the tower part but couldn't get access down the sidestreets. Thanks Chris, mystery solved. I'm sure I'll see something else at a later date!
