Funny Signs.

This afternoon I drove by a service station that had a big sign up proclaiming: "Used Tires...Huge Blow-Out Sale". I didn't even tread foot in there to inspect them.

I always smile when I go past the sign in the US for a car servicing company called Pep Boys. That always looks a little bit dodgy to me.

..but not as dodgy as Wanko (the clothes shop) in Hong Kong.

The Wanko shop used to be outside the back entrance of our hotel in HK. More often than not, someone had taken the 'O' off. I bet they had a stock of 'O's in their back yard for just such an occasion.

At the beginning of every school year, the "D' gets changed to a "P" on the sign of a local high school: "DENIS O'CONNOR".

There`s a florist in a posh area a few miles from here called The Button Hole. The o and n kept disappearing from their sign. I know I shouldn`t but I laughed my socks off when I drove past it and it said The Butt Hole.

Where I live is a sign that should read 'please drive carefully through village'. A humourist with some white paint has made it 'please die carefully, rough village"

stewey ..No I woudn't do that honestly...what are you suggesting? Stewey you have to have more faith in me than that. I do alot of the work for my lawyer!!... a year and 4 months on but I am good when I put my mind to it.

It might not be enough and who wants to be destroyed but I believe in stuff and you know what they say - its not over until the fat lady sings! Its so true. You wouldn't last 5 mins but you are you are quite sweet so I'll let you off this time.

During roadworks, a road near us had a sign, "Cats Eyes Removed", to which some wag had added, "£1.50".

Our regional police department is named Durham Regional Police Services. Their cruisers have a logo saying "Visit Us At DRPS". Every so often some daring person places an "i" between the "R and P".

Yea I read that E.....post..made my eyes bleed but you have to laugh while your eyes are bleeding, its funny. (bad is good sometimes!)

My solicitor is lovely Stewey but he is a waesel, my barrister is awesome. I 'm the one who is the nightmare and I just need to rein my neck in sometimes. I know this!, they dont mind though. Things work out better than you think and I like to be hopeful. You know when you worry over nothing - I need to stop doing this.
