Given the history, why would you want to know?

Not sure that it is any of your business, or germane to my enquiry, but he may want to be buried in the same grave as our Mother, which we would certainly not want. On that issue I am fairly sure about our situation, as I am the registered owner of the grave and nobody can be buried in it without my permission.
He also owes my side of the family a sum of money, due to the sale of their flat, which went through 2 years ago. My mothers Will said that he had security of tenure until HIS death and then the flat would be sold and the proceeds split up, in accordance with her will. He had a similar "mirror" will, if he had predeceased her. |

If you struggle doing it yourself, I can recommend this company who successfully traced someone for me with very little information.

I think you may find that he can be buried in the grave without your consent
We have a grave and my mother is the registered owner of the grave but that did not stop her cousin from being buried there when she died - my mother did not know about it until after she had died Her cousin wanted to be buried with her daughter who died in 1950 aged 6 and at the time my mum said they could bury the little girl there |

Ric....I have been assured, in writing, by the local County Council, that they will seek my permission before committing any other body to this grave. I have a certificate from the Council Dept that says, very clearly, that I am the registered owner of the grave. It is in a Local Authority cemetary.
It may be different if the grave is in a church or chapel graveyard though. In your Mothers case, it may be worth while asking the Council why they allowed an unauthorised burial. |

Given a name and possible location I can check death records up to 2005.
