It would be nice to think that stuff like that really happens. When I open a cupboard door I usually find a pile of old bed linen and a cat lying on top of it - no vases worth £10k.

But as you say factor - we will never know.

On the North York Moors, BOO. Absolutely lovely. Fish and Chips in Whitby and lots of lovely fresh air and lovely grub for a week. I like space!!

Unfortunately, I know exactly what is in our attic. Old rodent nests and spiders - some being about 200 years old!! (the nests - not the spiders!!)

Strangely enough there was an article on the world news last week about someone in the US who had found tens of thousands of dollars in there loft a few months back. The previous owner of the house had died and they had bought the house. They did the right thing and contacted the family of the man who had died and handed the money over amid much press coverage. Maybe this was lofty? Or maybe as there have been no more posts Lofty was doing a bit of fantasising.
