Hello Pufflette - I have a friend who refers to 'life-skills' when talking about the disadvantaged people she deals with in her work. I think in addition to the 3 Rs, her team try to equip people with some social skills, how to behave in certain situations, how to write a proper letter, go on a job interview, dress appropriately and so forth. How to make the best of themselves and get on in life I suppose.
