New career for my boyfriend - any suggestions?

Hi all,
My boyfriend really need to pull his finger out and get himself a career but I'm stumped for ideas as to what he could do.
He's late twenties and has pretty much just done admin since college (with a year out for travelling in between), he's very clever but never really bothered much at school, has ok gcses and a levels but that's it. He is really into sport, especially american football, and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what he could apply for jobs in which might be related?
We're moving to Bristol early next year so will be looking then, any helpful advice anyone can give will be appreciated.
