Advice needed, regarding working the Bank Hol ?

Dear All, Once again I need some employment advice! I am supposed to be working this weekend, but as its is Bank Holiday on Monday my employer has decided to close the business on Friday night and to re-open on Monday evening. I am due to work a shift on Saturday and Sunday which I have been told I must pay back. This also happened the last bank hol, and by Monday I will owe my employer 21 hours.

I have no contract to look upon for more details, (still waiting for one!)

Any ideas?
