Student Finance - father living abroad

My husband lives and works abroad (but we are still together) and only comes home at weekends. Daughter is off to University in September and we want to know how we go about declaring my husband's income if he is paid in Euros and pays tax in that country. We have a UK current account for which his euros are paid in monthly.
