how to stop rabbits

hi i have just started a gardening job at a hotel that has a lot of rabbits on the land has only one got any tips on how to keep the rabbits off the borders

also does anyone know what are the best plants to buy that rabbits wont eat

I think that the R. H. S. publishes a list of plants which rabbits don't like. They may also be able to come up with some suggestions which will dis-encourage them from visiting the borders.

Beware of lists - unfortunately rabbits can't read! They seem to have an unerring ability to give most things a nibble! In my experience as a gardener I have had success with penstemons, foxgloves, lavender, phlomis, phormium, iris, cardoon, eryngiums and euphorbias. There are more, but I will run out of room! I find that with a lot of plants rabbits will have a go at them to start with and then lose interest in following years - a bit of netting and a couple of sticks to support it will help to keep the more curious ones away.
