Hello. I have decided that I would like to become a massage therapist. Can anyone tell me the best way to start learning for this kind of profession? Night school, distance learning, or some other way? Are there any particular avenues that I should avoid?
Thanks

hi i have just recentlry done nvq level 2 and level 3 in beauty therapy which was really good and now im currently doing holistic therapy .
If it is more of massage you want to do level 3 and holistics would b good as u do full body swedish massage and also aromatherapy in level 3, and you also do advanced body massage and reflexology in holistics.

Although there is no way in which you have to do the course it will b eaiser doing beauty therapy level 3 first before going on to do the holistics as it is a follow up and you will find it much better .

I found it easier to do it full time as the courses are free and u tend to pay more for part time or night courses and it is eaiser doing it full time as u will learn more and have more time to complete and u tend to find you are cramming everything in at the last minute if u do it part time.

Although they would b a cost for the full time courses but it will just be for the uniform and not for the course its self .I know what its like as ive done it for 3 years now lol.

Hope this has helped in some way love laura xx
