15 and wanting a job

I'm a 15 year old girl living in London and I've been looking for a weekend job for a while now. I've asked around quite a bit but not many employers seem to need an inexperienced 15 year old doing work for them which is a shame since I'm a quick learner. Anyway I've tried asking for lots of the usual...shop assistant work, hair dressing assistant and waitress work. My parents dont think me getting a job is a good idea as they think I'll be overworked and underpaid because of my age. . .but if you know of any jobs that aren't so obvious (but still legal) please let me know
