Shaney I must be sad too...... the link in the case was the singers booking agent.He was a known criminal/murderer in Blighty.The top dutch copper man was the father of the woman copper's daughter! He was involved in the smuggling of the conflict diamonds with the singers agent being involved too. The barman at the blue parrot ( I nearly typed oyster! ) was responsible for slipping the singer (should have been the bookers girlfriend who knew too much!) and Dalziel a mikey finn. He had a grudge again Dalziel from a while back and thought it payback opportunity to frame him.The dutch Dalziel type was keeping a secret file on his boss, and Peter confirmed his suspicions. the two young coppers from the UK gave up their free time, came to Amsterdam and helped with enquiries. The Bridegroom was a mule for the Diamond smugglers and there was some work (intelligence) connection with the singer ( I was making tea so don't know the in's and out's sorry) when I came back an African assasin was bumping off baddies for destabilising his countries economy! he hooked up with Peter, and his information tied the story together.This is the Readers Digest version please feel free to add if you can ......

I can see now how it panned out. I had a feeling the bridegroom was mixed up in it somewhere.And that Dutch chief inspector was dodgy from the start.
The other poster probably watches CBeebies like most children !
