I have never heard either of my children swear.....

Yesterday I received lovely birthday greetings from my daughter...when I reminded her it was tomorrow so she was a tad early she said..... Whoooops.....
Tonight I've sent my son a text telling him he doesn't have much longer left of today to wish me a happy birthday.....he replied.....

Oh **********! I thought it was tomorrow.....

I will stand on a chair tomorrow to clip his ear......;-)

Only swore once in front of my mother, she gave me the'look'.
I would have much rather had the clip around ear ( or even the wet dish cloth ) than the 'look'.

Do you know, Murdo....I can't think they have....one of the step daughters did on 31st March 2008.....I was so very angry and couldn't think of a way to get her off her high horse and listen that I used the foulest language I knew to make her understand what was happening....it was on the phone though so I missed seeing her face......x

I'm sure he does at work, Zebo....and I guess with friends too as it seems to be accepted and not noticed.....but just never with me....and I've had to get on the chair to clip his ear since he was about ten... :-(
