Things that you need to know are....how much rent per week, how much deposit you need to pay, assuming that you are a student you will need a guarentor for your rent. Are the 24 weeks all in a block? How much notice if you wish to leave before the end of the tenency. What you (and flatmates??) are responsible for in terms of repairs, gardening (if appropriate) condition of property when leaving. Ensure that you take pictures when you arrive or go through an inventory with landlord or agent for landlord, if a return of your deposit is dependent on the state of the place make absolutely sure you have pictures efore you leave of an extremely clean and tidy place...then if the deposit is not returned you can contest the decision.
