1 is travelling at 100mph stops for 7.30 minutes,4.12 minutes then 18.02 minutes on a section 300 miles long.

2 is travelling at 76mph on a 400 mile piece of track and stops for 19.09 minutes,1.34 minutes then 46.08 minutes then goes up a hill that slows it down to 36mph,speeds up to 100mph for 12 minutes then crosses a chicane at 3mph.

What time do the 2 trains meet?

Okay let's say their japanese bullet trains that are never late and ran by a reputable company that never lies and uses train track cleaners daily so leaves or anything else on tracks are never a problem.

Crosses at the speed it's traveling at of course.
Surely there isn't enough information. eg, how long are the hill and chicane for train 2?

Is 19.09 minutes 19 mins 9 seconds or 19.09 minutes?

Can we asume instant acceleration back to running speed after the stops?
What is chicane in the context of railway? Does it mean a set of points?

I've asked in the scientific section where I guess the iq's are higher but thanks anyway.
If it's going at 3mph why would it take nine minutes to travel 100 metres when it goes at eighty-eight yards a minute?
