I struggle to understand how in this day and age people using computers etc. still cant do links!

I fully understand that we all come here equipped with various degrees of capabilities, but copying and pasting a link is pretty much as simple as turning on your computer, laptop or other device.

So lets see if we can provide some very easy to learn copying and pasting techniques on different devices.

I have posted this in chatterbank as those that fear technology may not visit there to see this post.

It's like anything though, until you're taught, you're unaware.
I can't do links from my tablet or phone so I suppose it depends what device is being used.

The important things to remember is, copy the entire URL, when you paste it, make sure the is a space before and after the link if it is with other text.

Yes ummmm, different devices work differently but I am sure we can find youtube vids that explain it simply for everybody.
I find it necessary to press enter or return after pasting the link otherwise it won't work.
Fair point Ratter, I can do links with my eyes closed on my laptop/PC but certainly can't on my tablet or phone. In fact on my phone I don't even know how to refresh a page.
There is no shortage of missing links on AB.

I apologise to all if I was a little critical in my OP, it wasn't intended to be judgemental.
Ratter if the android link is for me (and others) then thanks but I am at work which does not allow youtube clips. When I get home I'm expecting my broadband to still be broken so won't see it there either. Life really can be too technical at times.

Lol TWR, it is for anybody that is struggling to copy and paste links, we see it here quite often. Admittedly I also get it wrong sometimes. :-)
Prudie...on my phone to refresh the page you drag the page down.

Does that make sense?
Ratter.......are you at home or at work?...............;-)
Thanks ummmm I'll try that later. I certainly can't see any button to press. It makes AB on a phone almost unbearable (yes I know there's a phone version)
