In light of the recent Rolf Harris case in which all his victims were females, and in other cases all other paedophiles victims are specifically boys, it got me wondering are there just paedophiles or are there heterosexual ones and homosexual ones?

I don't know the answer.

My guess would be that a paedophile who assaulted only boys would have homosexual tendencies, whereas a paedophile who molested only girls would have heterosexual tendencies.

Provided of course that the pedophile was male.

Spatywhotsit has the answer. But I recall that Savile abused boys as well as girls, although whether that means he was a homo, hetero, or bisexual is beyond my paygrade. . Do we have any trickcyclists on AB today ?

But a paedophile who found himself employed in a boys school would abuse whoever was available and there it would be boys.
Savile seems to have had catholic tastes. By all accounts he was a bi, necrophiliac, paedophile.

That is because the Western World is MAINLY a white society so you would expect paedophiles to be mainly white.

BUT....this is not borne out my world wide statistics as non white do their fair share of child sexual procurement.......50/50 I gather.
