this is really your personal statement, not mine... but basically you're telling them why you want to join them.

So... why do you?

Make sure you're clear about this in your own mind, then tell them. This is true no matter what employer.

You want to... serve the public?

Help keep order?

Fight crime?

Like getting out and meeting people?

Like driving round with a siren wailing?

Whatever...
