Nope and nope.

A knowledge of at least 1 language and the obvious grades A-C in maths and English etc.

There is a course you can do, but its not essential. its on Cabincrewdirect.com.

Oh and your height and weight need to be in proportion, they're quite big on that.

Speaking as ex-cabin crew thinking about going back, the advice given above is very accurate. Not too tall/short and not too heavy.

As regards the courses available, you often see them in the adverts at the back of newspapers, don't even bother! You'd be wasting your money. Airlines like to train you from scratch, to their Crew Safety Standards. It won't even interest them if you spend your hard-earned cash on some two-bit course. If you are looking to get noticed, get some experience in a customer services-related role - retail, airport ground staff, etc.

Hope this helps & best of luck! x

They are called Cabin Crew now.
