Hi,

I am looking to gain work experience from working in another country.

I am interested in working Mediterranean, USA, Canada, Mexico, Spain, France etc.

I'd appreciate hearing your personal experience and how you went about working abroad. Thanks >_'

Give us a bit more information - what age band do you fall into, what sort of work would you be looking to do?
Forget the USA unless you have close family there, or some really special skill or qualifications (Phd or something similar!).
Do you have any languages? (other than English)
You probably won't make very much money and sometimes in my experience you don't get paid at all. You need to think carefully and make sure you get a work permit- don't be tempted with Thailand- not a good working experience if you don't have a visa/permit!
Best place to work is Germany if you don't mind the climate which is a lot like Britain's.
I answered an ad, got through the interview, got offered the job, ( complete with air tickets ) and flew to Barbados. No problem
Then did the same again when I got back, went off to the Middle East.
But I do have professional qualifications in the information business.
are you in Britain now?
If the 19 in your name means your age, for the USA I would seriously look at becoming a camp counsellor over the summer month, working with kids from 5 to 17 - a lot of fun if you are outgoing and sporty.....doesnt pay enormously but all accommodation and food found.

this one is pretty up-market....

As has been mentioned, you will likely find getting a work Visa in North America nigh on impossible. I was able to do it in the early 90s because I worked for the London branch of an American company, but even that's much more difficult these days.

What skills do you have that another country might need?
