I mean font size
I do a lot of interviewing, etc, and I like to see a clear sans-serif fount, no smaller than 11pt. And not a lot of italics and bold text, either. Bullet points do help
i use 11pt, arial narrow - very simple and plain
i make title names in italics., and company name in bold.

i intend to redo it soon...

but as long as its not a fancy font, and is easy to read ( although if you have an arty job, very minor 'flourishes' are more acceptable)
Usually 12 point Arial, and 16/18 point Times Roman Bold for main headings, Arial 12 point bold for sub-headings.
I'd use Arial 12 point safe as houses.

Use a bit of bold for headings and a few bullets or indentations, but don't go over the top and what every you do don't mix and match fonts.
personally, anything that makes your cv fit into max of 2 pages
