I am now unemployed (reduntancy) aged 63, what benefits can I claim? I am told pension credits
+ dole. Little savings, any advice or experiences. Thanks

I'm not sure about pension credits. Household income will be taken into account for some benefits
have a go n this link it is really good, also, if you have problems contact ageconcern or help the aged, seriously, they have people willing to help, plus, if you are over 55 you get priority on the housing

depends on your total income and savings but you should get housing benefit if you pay rent and council tax benefit
ring the jobcentreplus helpline straight AWAY AND GET AN APPOINTMENT for a phone consulkt to get an appointment in the job centre, ring the council about council tax and or housing benefit, the jobcentre will sort the forms but you need to let the council know.
