work notice at ada

Hitere, Jst wonding i anone nows how muh notice id have to give my employer asda after working for 2 and a half years. Im only contacted for 8 hours a week. Thanks for any answers

Your notice is normally stated in your terms & conditions and it isn't dependent on how long you have worked there. I'm guessing, but on a part-time job like this I expect one week's written notice is normal, but check.

I'm not sure but I was told once that if you are paid weekly it is a week for every year up to 3 months and up to 6months if paid monthly dependant on years worked. Most employers at your level will accept one month but may accept on week. It depends on a. your contract, b. if they need to loose staff.

You could always ask HR.
