I had a few loans though my bank Barclays quite a few years ago.
I have looked at their form and they are asking me for the reference numbers.
As the loans were probably 5-6 years ago I dont have the paperwork.

Do you think they will have records? I am still with them & have been for 25 years.

I dont suppose they will be helpful to me as i want to claim money from them.

Any advice or opinions appreciated.

yes they do have records. i did the same thing....but barclays denied, denied, denied at first - until i got the financial ombudsman involved. then they admitted liability and paid out. there are some good template letters on moneysavingexpert.co.uk to start with. good luck - and be persistent x

good....just write to them and say you don't have the account numbers, but are sure that the loans you had meet the ppi claim criteria...as said, the website gives yoiu reasons to claim. for us, it was because my hubby had mental health problems which made ppi null and void if claimed...and we weren't told at the time it would be useless.
