I definately wanna join the territorial army but cant decide what area. An option i considered was the PARA'S (R). what are the chances of being shot as a PARA in afghan?

Powell - you'd be in a war zone, you don't put percentages on it. You need to go to the Army Careers office and talk through your options. Any serving soldier can be sent anywhere in the world - it's not only Afghanistan. It's a risk you take when you sign up.
