A bull jumped over the stadium rail and into the crowd of spectators who presumably were about to watch a bull fight in Spain, it just jumped over rail after rail over the crowd, unbelievable!!!!

Yes, I was cheering the bull on.

Good on it, they deserved it IMO
What I find even more incongruous is the fact that this barbaric tradition still continues in the 21st century.

and the poor bull was shot.
Well not good for the bull as it got destroyed, it never should have been in that situation to start with.

But as it was there than I'm glad it got a few of the people that think it's a spectator sport watching animals getting maimed.
I believe a young child was hurt.

Who on earth would take a kid to a bull fight??
It was good to see the bull getting it's own back for a change on the bloodthirsty cretins who like watching them being tortured.

Of course, being Spain, they killed the bull after they caught it.

I feel sorry for the 10 year old boy as he probably wasn't there through his own choice, but the adults I don't feel sorry for at all.
I drove through Javea not so long ago and saw a bull in a "ring" that was surrounded by caged spectators who were able to run out across the path of the bull into other "cages". Children were participating in the "fun and frolics".

Astonishing. And not in a good way.

It actually took them 15 minutes to get the bull under control. Imagine the injuries, or worse, it could have caused in that time.
I once went to a bullfight years ago and I ended up crying!

It is a barbaric sport.
Very sad - for the bull I mean.
Docspock maybe you should have a read of this as fish have been found to feel pain according to this.

I believe that from 2012 Bullfighting is being banned in Catalonia, maybe with a bit of luck the ban will spread to the rest of Spain
