I have a Sagem freeview box but cannot record from it. Is it possible to set it up so that I can record programmes on freeview?
Thanks

you should be able to if you link video and freeview with a scart lead.......i think !!
Just did a search on Sagem, and according to what I found. the cheapest has one scart socket, and the dearest, which is also a hard drive recorder. has 2.

I think it will work OK with one, but you will probably have to feed it from that one socket to the TV via the video (scart from the video to the TV), or, if that doesn't work (I think it will) get a scart adapter (2 into 1)
Yes, you just connect it to a video, or DVD, recorder. As long as the recorder is tuned-in to receive the signal, then there's no problem. My aerial goes into my Freeview box, which is connected to my Cable box, then into my DVD recorder, which receives both units and terrestrial TV.

Thanks that was really helpful!
I had the scart from the freeview into the TV, so switched them round and it works!

Many thanks!
