As far as I know, contents of a lock up garage [not the car but tools etc] aren't covered under house contents insurance - if the garage isn't attached to your house.  Does the same apply to garden sheds/greenhouses & other outbuildings?  Is there a company who would insure these [against theft/fire/vandalsim]?

Most insurance companies will cover if you insure on an all risks basis - but you do need to specifically tell them when you take out cover.
