How do you know though, for all you know, you could be related to one of them and be quite close to them but neither know that the other is an ABer. :-/

you are assuming a lot of things.

1. that someone you know in real life uses ab, somehow
2. that you have discovered they use it, somehow
3. that you have discovered their user name, somehow

of course it can happen. just not to me. or b00 it seems.

Hey Benny I've always wondered this too, that's one of the reasons I dont say anything bad about the people I work with in case they work out it's me! My daughter also found out my username and has done searches in the past so I'm careful about what I reveal.

Think i know what you mean Benny, though I think over time you'll suss out if you know someone.

Especially here on CB, as we are usually chatty about our home lives, families, where we live etc, so it'd be only a matter of time before someone who may know you could work out who you were.

There is someone who posts on here infrequently/sporadically, whom I haven't seen for a while (on here)...............and I think I may have met them 'in real-life', although not for some time.
I did put up a thread asking for subtle ways of teasing it out of him.......however, it seems that most folks on here don't do subtle :o(

Ummmm mentioned a pub I used to drink in and from susbequent conversations it became clear to us who the 'other one' was.
