which is the cheapest and the dearest groups lets say group 10 is that the cheapest or dearest to say group one .many thanks as was thinking of buying a vauxhall sigum 1.9 to pull my caravan ?

Group 1 is the cheapest. My old KA was a group3, ny new 1.6 TDCI ford fiesta is a Group 6. My OH's3 litre BMW is a 16..

Dont rely on what the motor trade tell you you could be in for a shock. The group rating of cars is individual to each insurer - some go up to group 10 some go up to group 25. SOme will go up to group 10 but apply special terms to individual models. If you are buying a car get a quote on the exact make,model , age etc.
